New York Railroads
Radio Frequencies

There are a dozen websites that list and attempt to keep up
with all changes in railroad radio frequencies.  Rather than
attempting to reinvent the wheel, we are listing some
that we have used in the hopes that you will
find what you are looking for among these.

Should you discover railroads that are not listed,
or discover that they actually operate on different frequencies,
send us a note and we will do out best to alert these sites.
For instance, in a recent visit to the South Branch Valley RR
in West Virginia, we could not hear any radio conversations
that verified what they might be using.
In some cases, railroads have gone to using cell phones
for basic work such as contacting the dispatcher
at the start of the day.

Again, please comment if you note change.  Thanks.
