Milford Depot is located one block off NY Route 28
 and home to the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad.

 

 

 

 

The railroad is one of several projects of the Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society and Leatherstocking Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society.

Milford Depot hosted a night session for the 2004 Railfan's Day on Saturday, 
[Lighting provided by Steve Barry of Railfan & Railroad Magazine.]

Fog has blanketed the valley overnight and is just lifting as the crew readies MLW/Alco S4 #3051.

Engine #3051 poses in bright sunlight in the Milford yard.

Check out the bridge near Cooperstown.  Over 100 years old and still carrying the weight
 of those trains!  Built in 1896!
