Canadian National 4-6-4 #5700 has been retired for decades but the Elgin County Railway Museum
in St. Thomas, Ontario maintains the locomotive in pristine condition although not
operational. The museum hosts several open houses each year and during
one, staff and photographers brought the steam locomotive to life again
although only through a smoke machine and electrical cables.
