The ground is shaking and the scenery whistling by as we paced a special Southern Railway
excursion near Culpepper, VA on July 18th, 1987. Pacing alongside while setting the camera
for a slower speed allowed the train to be in focus while blurring the movement of the
foreground for this "panned" photograph.
